Biotechnology and Biomedical Applications 2010

The new edition of the thematic brochure entitled « Biotechnology and Biomedical Applications 2010 » has been prepared by the Research Administration Departments of the Académie universitaire Louvain (FUCaM, FUNDP and UCL), with the valuable help of a peer review committee[1] .

The main objective of the brochure is to promote the results of research and encourage the transfer of these to the private sector in order to:

- boost the development of scientific research,

- support industrial innovation by arousing the interest of the private companies,

- encourage synergies between academic and scientific partners,

- give public institutions all available means for a better promotion worldwide of their research results.

The several competences presented in the brochure highlight the high level of R&D in the field of Biotechnology and Biomedical Applications within the Académie universitaire Louvain.
