Special assistance in case of specific needs
“Aide-handi” (“Handi-help”) is a unit of the Student Support Office for UCL students that helps and accompanies students.
Through “Aide-handi” you can make an appointment with a social worker, who will help you answer your questions concerning your daily life, or with the unit’s psychologist, who coordinates the educational support.
Professionals from the Student Support Office can inform you about your choice of studies, implement a tailor-made set of educational tools and help you to progressively acquire a work method that meets the academic requirements. They can also inform you about the financing of your studies and tackle with you all the issues linked to your health.
Aide-handi also tries to raise the awareness of the public with regards to the needs of the handicapped or disabled.
