For all sporting activities organized by the Sports Service of UCL, a sports membership for 2008-2009 is needed. This membership is valid from September 16th 2008 till June 30th 2009. Beneficiaries:
Price 40 € for a UCL student (Louvain-la-Neuve campus)
How to register: 1. By ticking “membership of sporting activities” when enrolling (on the written form or by Internet) (the amount will be added to your tuition fee) 2. By mentioning this orally to the student secretariat (the amount will be added to your tuition fee) 3. In case you forgot this while enrolling, you can come and see us during our office hours with your definitive student card and the correct amount of money.
Students of Polytechnics - Procedure to be followed to be able to do sport (academic year 2008-2009)
40 € for a Polytechnic student (Louvain-la-Neuve campus)
To obtain the CSE sporting card, you will need to contact the people in charge at your school. You will need to provide them with a passport-size picture as well as the required sum of money. This card will allow you to access all sports proposed in our program. Daily controls will be done during the activities. Those who don’t have a valid membership will be warned, and, in case of repeat offence, punished.
Sporting card for former UCL students (“alumni”)
If you were a UCL student in 2007-2008 and you had a CSE sporting membership card, you can still access our activities this year by buying a “Do Sport UCL” card at the price of 50 € (you will need to show your 2007-2008 student card mentioning sports membership plus a passport-size picture).
The university staff sporting association works alongside the Sporting Service and organizes sporting activities for its members as well as third parties. These include training sessions, training courses, competitions, free sporting activities, as well as other recreational activities that are organized in the framework of these sporting activities.
What is included in the CSE and ASPU sporting membership?
Access to activities – You have free-of-charge access to all sporting activities offered on the two campuses (Brussels-Woluwé as well as Louvain-la-Neuve), at certain fixed times mentioned in the “regular activities” rubric. Only a few activities require the payment of a small supplement.
Insurance – You are covered in case of an accident during one of our activities. A form will have to be filled out at the Sporting Service (except for some risky sports such as hang-gliding, sailing, etc. For more information, phone 010/47.44.40).
