"When dance meets sociology"

This year, the UCL puts the focus on the inter-connections between Art and Science, a theme that resonates with the interests of the Cirfase. Under the direction of John Bohannon and Nelle Hens (choreographers), a team of professional dancers re-interpreted Laura Merla's research on stay-at-home fathers gender identity dynamics. This dialogue between a sociologist and a team of dancers resulted in the creation of a choreography that was performed in Brussels, on the 3rd of July 2012, at the closing ceremony of the EU 6th Framework Programme.
