Frequently asked questions about cards and documents

I’ve lost my student card and would like to get a new one. What should I do?
You should go in person to the Office of the Registrar on the campus where you are studying. A new card will be issued to you immediately at a cost of €2.50.

Do I need to renew my access pass (smartcard) every year?
No, this pass is valid for the duration of your studies at UCL. If, however, you need to obtain a new card, you should contact the University's GPLO (logistics) unit.

To which address are the various registration documents sent?
These documents are always sent to the postal address you have provided, on a priority basis. Otherwise, they are sent to your home address in Belgium or to your term-time address in Belgium or to your home address abroad. Only your access pass is sent directly to your home address in Belgium or, failing that, to your term-time address in Belgium. If you do not have an address in Belgium, you are asked to collect your access pass from the Office of the Registrar in person.

My child benefit office has sent me a document to be filled in by the University. What should I do with it?
You should simply staple to it the document sent to you by the Office of the Registrar after you registrated (provided you have paid your course fees). The Office of the Registrar does not complete any documents from child benefit offices.
