Euraxess Rights EURAXESS Rights provides information on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. Any institution that employs or funds researchers is asked to respect the 40 principles laid down in these two documents in its human resources strategy. The aim is to create an attractive, open and transparent labour market for researchers.UCL signed the Charter and Code on 23 January 2006 and reiterated its commitment on 6 July 2010, thereby expressing its determination to support the European initiative and to implement a human resources strategy aimed at improving the recruitment, working conditions and careers of researchers. The European Commission approved UCL’s Human Resources Strategy for Researchers 2011-2014 on 12 March 2011. Its implementation should help to improve UCL researchers’ working conditions and career advancement. This recognition should also be an additional factor to attract European researchers participating in an international mobility programme.
