Steps to follow at your arrival
Here you will find some tips and steps to be followed in order to be ready to start your academic stay at UCL.
- Moment of arrival
Program your arrival in order to be present from the very first day of the semester. You will be then sure to receive the complete information and benefit from all the useful tips for your academic stay. In order to receive your accommodation key, make sure you arrive between Monday and Friday before 14:00. This will give you enough time to sign the contract and receive your keys.
- Welcome activities
Contact the host faculty or school to attend the possible information sessions for exchange students and, if needed, to finalize your study programme proposal.
- Validation of registration
Present yourself to the Registrar’s Office with your accommodation contract, the approval for registration and your ID in order to validate your registration at UCL.
- International welcome
In addition, when arriving during the beginning of the first semester (between September 1st and 30th) an international welcome is organised to help you with all these procedures. If you arrive at UCL after this international orientation, you have still have the possibility to contact the Service d'aide aux étudiant for any question that has not be solved by the contact person at the host faculty or school.
