Preparing your application
You would like to study one semester or one year at UCL as an exchange student? The first steps have to be taken at your home university.
- Mobility partnerships
You have to check first whether there is a mobility partnership between your home institution and your host Faculty at UCL. The existence of such an agreement is a mandatory requirement to mobility and constitutes a guarantee for you to benefit from a high quality academic and administrative tutoring at UCL.

- Entry requirements and selection process
Contact the mobility programs coordinator at your home institution in order to get information about the entry requirements and the selection process. This process is generally organised between December and March of the academic year preceding the mobility departure.
- Application
Build your application starting with a learning agreement of the courses to be followed at UCL. The more you are able to show a coherent courses’ choice, the better the chances for your application to be succesful. This application has to be submitted at your home institution, which is in charge of the selection.
