Assistance for the disabledAide Handi Service
“Aide-handi” (“Handi-help”) forms part of UCL’s Student Support Office and helps and supports students with special needs. Students can make an appointment with a social worker, who will help answer all their questions about everyday life. A psychologist also coordinates educational support. Aide Handi informs the disabled about specific services for them. Aide Handi also organises special welcome actions and pedagogical assistance. Professionals from the Student Support Office can provide information on your study choices, ensure that tailor-made teaching aids are supplied and help you to gradually acquire a working method that meets the academic requirements. They can also provide information about financing your studies and discuss health-related problems with you.
