Full membersThe Louvain Drug Research Institute brings together 10 research groups and more than 100 researchers (Professors, PhD students, postdoc fellows, technician), with various trainings (Physicists, chemists, biologists, masters in biomedical sciences, pharmacists, medical doctors, ...).
All groups are involved in fundamental and applied research. They are using up-to-date experimental approaches to develop and maintain cutting-edge research. Research areas span from the design and discovery of new drugs (and search for new targets) to the study of their biological activity and the evaluation of approaches to optimize their clinical use. The LDRI also aims at providing the researchers with a scientific environment favourable for productive collaborations and for the emergence of young and promising research teams.
