Welcome to the faculty of economic, social and political science!

In order to improve our quality of life on earth, we can make an effort to get to know and improve our understanding of our physical environment (examining natural, exact or applied sciences, our bodies (studying medical science), our psyche (learning more about psychology), our culture (examining art and literature), the rules we have when it comes to applying justice and showing solidarity (examining law) or the deeper meaning of our existence (examining philosophy and theology). 

However, we are also "social animals". At the Faculté des sciences économiques, sociales et politiques, we focus on man’s role in society and all of the relationships in which he plays a part.

The diverse and complex nature of this subject, as well as the way it various components interlink, means that it is richly rewarding. By taking the precise approach offered by a particular study program, students will find they have acquired a multitude of new specialist skills. However, they can only reap the benefits of such skills if they have a decent grasp of the other dimensions of the aspect of social reality they are studying.
This is why we recommend a multi-disciplinary approach, or an openness towards all aspects of the subject in question when it comes to training as well as the research carried out by faculty teachers and researchers.  

Analyzing and understanding the world we live in in order to achieve a better grasp over our life and those who shape it - these are the goals we have set ourselves.
