At the Brussels international airport (Zaventem) take the train to Bruxelles - Nord (first stop after Zaventem, departures every 30 minutes, duration 20 minutes). Then see "By train ".
 A taxi from Zaventem airport to Louvain-la-Neuve costs about 75 EUR. The trip takes about 30 minutes (take the map, stop at  Parking 22).

• From Brussels

Departures from any of the major railway stations in Brussels (Midi, Central, Nord, Schuman or Luxembourg).

Take a direct train to Louvain-la-Neuve or take a train in the direction of Namur or Arlon-Luxembourg and stop at Ottignies (30 minutes from Bruxelles-Nord).

At Ottignies station, take a train to Louvain-la-Neuve (not "Louvain", duration 7 minutes).  

• From Namur

 Take a train in the direction of Bruxelles, stop at Ottignies (duration 20 min), and take a train to Louvain-la-Neuve.

From the Louvain-la-Neuve railstation, take the steep street to your left (Rue des Wallons) in direction of Place des Wallons, Place des Sciences, and then Place Croix du Sud (location of ISV main buildings) (see local map). 

By car

• From Brussels

Take the highway E411 (Bruxelles-Namur-Luxembourg). Leave the highway at exit n° 7 (Louvain-la-Neuve). You are now on road N4 in direction of  Louvain-la-Neuve (3 km driving). At Louvain-la-Neuve, pass two round-abouts (180°), leave road N4 just before the third round-about, turning to your right (direction "Biereau, Bruyères" - Boulevard Baudouin 1er) (see general map).

• From Namur

 Take the highway E411 (Namur-Bruxelles). Leave the highway at exit n° 9 (Corroy-le-Grand, louvain-la-neuve). Turn to your left. You are on the road N25. After about 1 km you reach a round-about; take to your right (direction "Wavre"). You are now on road N4. Pass one round-about. At the next round-about turn 270° (direction "Biereau, Bruyères" - Boulevard Baudouin 1er).

On Boulevard Baudouin 1er, after about 200 meters, take the first turning to your right (Avenue G. Lemaître) and then the first turning to your left (Avenue Théodore Schwann). Head for Parking n° 11, 12 or 22 (see local map).

These parkings are reserved for UCL members but an access could be obtained for visitors by your contact at ISV.
