Price of the "Fondation Van Goethem-Brichant"

Patricia Leconte, PhD student at the Institute of Mechanics, Materials, and Civil Engineering and at the Center for Research in Mechatronics, received the 2012 price of the "Fondation Van Goethem-Brichant".
This price is awarded every year to promote the rehabilitation of disabled people, by means of medical, technological, or administrative tools. The price will help Patricia to conduct a PhD on "Motor representation in human-robot interfaces: a primitive-based approach for the design of new rehabilitation protocols". This year, the price was co-awarded to two laureates. The other one is Yannick Bleyenheuft, also from UCL, who is working at the Institute of Neuroscience.
