Prix Adolphe Van Tiggelen 2012

Dr. Francisco Contino has won the Adolphe Van Tiggelen Award 2012 for his outstanding presentation entitled ‘Study of the effect of nitrogen monoxide on the ignition delay using tabulation of dynamic adaptive chemistry’.

For your information, the jury came to the decision as follows:
- Each jury member made their own ‘top 5’;
- Scores were given as follows: 1 à 10 points, 2 à 7 points, 3 à 5 points, 4 à 3 points and 5 à 2 points;
- The individual scores were summed to make the final decision.

It is interesting to inform you that all jury members had dr. Contino as number one in their top 5, and also that all jury members explicitly mention that all presentations were of very high quality.
